NEED is the world's first interview operating system: one composer that researches the company, rehearses your answers, drafts the reply, and debriefs the call - while remembering your whole pipeline. Free to start; heavy use needs a subscription. Open the app at need.career/app.
Before the interview, Prep mode turns a company name into a battle plan - intel, rehearsal, stories, and a checklist that knows your stage. During the search, Apply mode files everything you receive to the right process and answers with the next move. After every call, Grow mode compounds what you learned - one weekly focus, nudged follow-ups, and numbers that prove you are improving.
NEED was born from more than 100 real interviews and countless frustrations with existing tools. After Forter, where he worked as a fullstack developer, Daniel Ehrlich found himself navigating the job market of 2025-2026. Through over 100 interviews he experienced firsthand the gaps in existing job-management tools - and saw that job searching isn't just about tracking applications. It's about managing hope, anxiety, learning and growth. NEED emerged from those experiences, refined through feedback from mentors and real users.
Originally called "Jobs Tracker", the product was renamed following strategic input from a friend. The name also has a mathematical property: arranged in a 2x2 grid, the letters read the same horizontally and vertically - a metaphor for the multidimensional nature of a career search, and the idea behind the animated logo.
NEED is operated by Daniel Ehrlich and Liron Goldenberg, based in Israel. Reach us at daniel@need.career or via the contact page. See also the homepage, blog, terms of use and privacy policy.
